Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum continues to voice Mexico’s support for Palestine. In the country’s latest gestures of solidarity with Gaza and Palestinians as a whole, she accepted letters of credence for 23 ambassadors around the world, including that of Excellency Ambassador of the State of Palestine Nadya Rasheed, at the National Palace in Mexico City on March 19, highlighting the allyship and cooperation between the two nations. The Palestinian Embassy celebrated the event through its social media channels, highlighting the significance of Mexico’s first female president accepting the credentials of a Palestinian woman.

“We condemn the aggression being experienced, and we believe that the Palestinian state must be recognized in all its fullness,” Sheinbaum said.
