We love to see Latinas make history, especially when it comes ot important areas like representation in politics ✨ Democrats Cindy Nava from New Mexico and Gabby Salinas from Tennessee won their election bids for the US Senate and House of Representatives. With this Nava, who is a former DACA recipient, has become one of the first former DACA recipients to win public office, and Salinas, a queer Bolivian immigrant, has become the first out LGBTQ+ woman and first Latinx person elected to the Tennessee state legislature.
