## Caption

Introspective look after 3 months as a full time sports reporter. Yall have seen my journey and my transformation. I’ve been open and honest on the highs and lows. And will continue to.

Previously I’d be on a beach daily all summer. Now I’m in Nebraska chasing stories, interviews, and features instead of sunsets.

I miss my family and long time friends. I miss the small quality time to the large hang outs. I miss continental and international traveling. 

All of it will come back in time as I tell myself I’m brand new in this industry. I have to put the time in to grow to where I want to get.

I’ve made new friends and gained a lot of mentors along the way in FL and here in NE…they have carved their own place too I’m grateful for.

The pictures above. Being a sports reporter. Creating social content. This is the payoff.

When I sat at my 9-5 desk job, I longed for this… daily, hourly, minute by minute….

Now I’m in the field at press conferences, practices, games, community events, and more. 

I’ve never been more fulfilled day to day in my career. Every day I wake up so happy, humbled, and blessed to do what I love for a living. 

I’m living my get to job vs. a have to job 🥲

Whether it’s a short day or a 12 hour grind, it doesn’t feel like work… ever.

None of it was handed to me. It took sacrifices and an innate belief in myself to jump into a world unknown. 

Plus the team around me who supports and pushes me daily. #1team1dream

And the ones who didn’t believe, only fueled the flame to prove em wrong.

I’ve had over 50 people tell me from watching my vlogs on YT or following me on other socials they have made career or life changes to chase their dreams.  Such a cool byproduct of me chasing mine to inspire others :)

The road will stretch you.
You’ll sacrifice comfort, time, and much more.

Still…
If your dream is loud enough,
you’ll keep going.

I did.
And look at what I’ve achieved so far… only just the beginning!
