First stop on the Nebraska flavor tour is the legendary Runza! For those who don’t know me yet, I’m a life long Californian who just graduated sportscasting school in Orlando. I moved to the Midwest for the first time working for ntvnews as a sports reporter!

runzarestaurants was highly recommend as the local first food try. It’s a warm, golden pocket of bread stuffed with seasoned ground beef, onions, and cabbage—basically Nebraska’s answer to comfort food. Crispy outside, savory inside!
