So DJI says the Mavic 3 can hit 15km (~9 miles) of range.

And in reality? Well, most of us start getting signal warnings a few miles out... and you’ll want to turn around somewhere about 6–10km if you want your drone back safe.

Isn't that quite a gap between ideal and real? In practice, suburban interference, battery wear and line-of-sight laws keep things a lot closer to earth.

Can anyone challenge this? How far have you pushed yours?
