When we started talking with Arize about what they wanted to accomplish with the 2025 spot, they said they wanted it to be fun, quirky, highlight the friendly and light-hearted environment at Arize, and set them apart from other financial institutions. 

So we decided to highlight one sticking factor with a lot of bank interactions: awkwardness. Money can be awkward, going into a bank can be awkward, we (the customer) can be awkward, feeling like you don’t have control over your money because you have to jump through regulatory hoops is awkward; and we’ve all experienced it at some point or another. 

So we chose to take that awkwardness and channel it into our character and then use contrast as our storytelling method to highlight how at ease and not awkward banking with Arize made her feel. 

This was a fun spot to create and we’re eternally grateful to our amazing clients who let us make stuff like this for them. Also shoutout to Mary Potter for stepping up and playing our lead so well, you do awkwardness PERFECTLY 😂
