@vegasdraws you did your thing. 🤩⁣
 ⁣
The Seattle Kraken just dropped their Pride Night logo on their team site and the fans are feeling it. 👏⁣
⁣
The logo is designed by Seattle-based artist and tattooist Vegas Vecchio and features bright colors and queer symbolism to celebrate Pride Night. Obsessed. 🌈⁣
⁣
The site describes the pieces as follows: "Each piece of artwork is connected through the overarching theme of pride and meant to evoke the magic of queer and trans joy. The black background in the artwork is meant to signify the darkness, hardship, and struggle so many of us face on our journey to find and accepting our own unique identity; we are the bright colors bursting through the darkness unafraid to be unapologetically ourselves. You will find rainbows, pride flags, and queer symbolism throughout each piece, some loud and proud, and others more subtle. Together we are strong ,and united we are proud. We stand for love." 🥹⁣
⁣
The Kraken will host Pride Night on Thursday, January 8, when they take on the Minnesota Wild. Fans who buy tickets through the Common Thread on their site will have a portion of the purchase go to Seattle Pride. Additionally, part of the funds from the Anchor Auction will also benefit Seattle Pride. 🔥⁣
⁣
They haven’t shared any details on when their Pride-themed gear will be available for purchase, but we’ll keep you posted with any updates! 🤝⁣
⁣
