“I’m a little ashamed to say that my husband calls me the ‘avocado killer’ because I often forget about the avocados I have sitting on the counter and end up having to toss them when they get overripe. But I found a good way to save ripe avocados for another day: I mash them in a bowl with a squeeze of lemon juice, spoon the mash into ice cube trays, and freeze them.
