Yes, I'm being pedantic every time I say "velveteen," welcome to the channel.

Anyway, this is kind of cheating, because I made my intent clear to Max when we were talking about the jacket. It plays one way in casual daytime outfits, and a totally different way in formal nighttime outfits; almost subdued, at least in comparison to more common shades of velvet, like red and emerald green--each of which has some historical rules about when they're supposed to be worn... I think green is for the party host and red is for the guests? Doesn't matter, I wanted a dark purple that played in the light, and. I got it.
