When Sana, William, and their two sons first came across Kings Mountain, they found a stretch of redwood forest, remote and full of potential.

After 20 years living in Beirut, Lebanon, they relocated to the Bay Area, just 40 minutes south of San Fran. With them came a love of animals, growing food, and creating spaces where people feel welcome and at ease.

Sana, who is Lebanese and French, and William, who is American, brought together different cultural influences. Their goal was simple—to build a place that felt both personal and inviting.

That vision became Kings Mountain Fancy Camp: an off-grid retreat that’s part working farm, part glampsite, and entirely built by hand. Set high in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the camp sits in the fog line, often above the clouds, where sunsets stretch long and the forest feels still.

As William (farmer, builder, food guy), Sana (designer, host, home cook), and their sons like to say:
“We made this for ourselves, but we’re glad to share it.”
