Meet Steppen – he reopened Naked Falls to campers after it had been closed for over a decade. Once banned due to misuse, the Washougal River is now home to 20 riverside sites and a community of campers committed to preserving this special place.

He worked closely with the local council to restore trust and access, and today Naked Falls is a thriving example of how thoughtful hosting can make a difference.
