#PressPlay: Utah Governor #SpencerCox got emotional after a suspect was arrested in the murder of conservative activist #CharlieKirk, and he didn’t hold back his feelings. “I am as angry as I have ever been,” Cox said, adding that Kirk’s death is “much bigger than an attack on an individual” but “an attack on all of us.”

“It is an attack on the American experiment. It is an attack on our ideals. This cuts to the very foundation of who we are, of who we have been and who we could be in better times,” he continued. The governor also spoke on wishing the suspect in his death was from another country or state. “For the last 33 hours, I had been praying that this person (who murdered Charlie Kirk) was from another country. That he was not one of us because we are not like that. But it was one of us,” he said. ___________________________________
