## Caption

This potato, tortellini, & kale soup is how I make an ultra cozy dinner for two! 👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻🍲✨ Plus, it’s even better the next day! 
That beautiful wooden spatula you see throughout is from januarymoore - one of the beautifully talented artisans I’m featuring this fall! She’s a fellow Kentuckian and she makes some of the most beautiful wooden pieces! My husband, a fellow woodworker, is as smitten with her walnut scraper (spatula) as I am! I’ll have more on here in stories and my “Support Small” Highlight. 
➡️Here’s the recipe:
🌟1 lb ground Italian sausage. Cooked & drained. 
🌟4 tbs of - butter, bacon fat, oil. Whatever you prefer in your household. 
🌟1 small sweet onion - diced
🌟5 cups of diced yellow/gold potatoes 
🌟8 cups chicken broth (or vegetable)
🌟3 cups frozen tortellini or as much as you’d like. 
🌟4 cups chopped kale. 
🌟A splash of heavy cream 
🌟I also added my favorite all purpose Greek seasoning to taste, but you can use any extra seasonings you like! 
🌟Toppings you like. We did parmesan and bacon. 
➡️Add the fat and onion to your pan and cook until softened. Add the potatoes and broth and bring to a boil. Once boiling sun down to a simmer and cook until potatoes are fork tender. Add in your cooked sausage and tortellini. Once tortellini is softened add in the kale and cook until wilted. Add a splash of heavy cream to finish. Make sure to add seasoning throughout the process. Salt, pepper, your favorite Italian herbs. Make it your own! 
Top with your favorite topping and serve with a yummy crusty bread!
