Lunch date with my bestfriend 🫶🏼

Once a week, I love taking Auggie out on a little fancy date, and this time we went to Mariposa at Fashion Island in Newport Beach 🥂✨

They welcome you with their signature bread basket + warm consommé that instantly sets the tone. We started with the crispy calamari, shared a juicy filet mignon, and I had the strawberry chicken salad that was the perfect balance of sweet + savory. Auggie went classic with chicken tenders of course haha but the highlight? The chocolate lava cake was the most magical way to end our lunch date 🍫.
