❗️Audi RS6 E-Tron project has been canceled.

The decision comes down to insufficient demand for a high-performance electric wagon.

Spy shots from 2023 had shown what looked like RS6 E-Tron prototypes in testing, fueling excitement that now won’t materialize.

Audi will instead move forward with the less extreme S6 E-Tron as the top EV in the lineup.

The gas and hybrid RS6 Avant will continue development, keeping the RS6 name alive—just not in full-electric form.
