Before you toss that foundation that’s too orange, consider some blue mixing pigment. 

Truthfully even if you know you’re undertone, brands are inconsistent across the board. One brand’s neutral undertone might run a little too yellow and another brand’s cool, might be too red. 

I wanted to try this new Charlotte Tilbury foundation because I heard great things but the neutral (which is where I typically fall on undertones) wasn’t a match and the cool was too red for me. So this was my quick fix. 

The LA girl mixing pigment is about $9 and it comes in yellow (to make foundation more golden), white (to lighten) and a orange (to warm).
