🍎 Apple Blender Cake 🍰

This is truly the easiest cake you’ll ever make! Just five ingredients, minimal cleanup, and a soft, delicious crumb that’s perfect for the upcoming High Holidays. Think of this as a base recipe, you can dress it up with chopped nuts, extra apple cubes, or even chocolate chips.

👉 I used an apple cakelet pan, but you can use any kind of baking dish or pan you like—from a loaf pan, to cupcakes, to a round cake.

Ingredients
* 1 medium to large apple (I used Honeycrisp, but any apple works) 🍏
* 3 large eggs 🥚
* 1 cup (190 g) granulated sugar
* ½ cup (120 ml) oil
* 1 ½ cups (210 g) self-rising flour

Optional Flour Substitutions
* Using almond flour: 2 cups (180 g) almond flour + 1 tsp (5 g) baking powder
* Using all-purpose flour: 1 ½ cups (210 g) flour + 1 tsp (5 g) baking powder

For Garnishing
* Powdered sugar, sifted ❄️
* Warm Biscoff cookie butter for drizzling 🍯

Instructions
1. Wash and scrub your apple, peel if you like, and cut into chunks.
2. Place the apple chunks and sugar in a blender. Blend until the apple is fully mashed.
3. Add the eggs and oil. Blend again for about 15 seconds.
4. Add the flour. Only pulse twice—do not over-blend.
 * Over-mixing the flour develops too much gluten, which can make the cake dense instead of light and tender.
5. Spray or grease your chosen baking pan (apple cakelet pan, loaf, round, or cupcakes all work!). Pour in the batter.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes, depending on the size of your pan. Test the center with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s done.
7. Cool the cake completely. Dust with powdered sugar. If using cookie butter, warm it in the microwave until soft, then drizzle over the cake using a piping bag, Ziploc bag, spoon, or simply spread across the top.
