Y’all keep asking about the edible flowers I grow, but what if I told you there are FREE flowers right in your own backyard? 🌿💜 Today, me & my mini's are foraging wild violets to make a syrup I’ve been brewing up since my boys were babies. It’s sweet, floral, and changes color like straight-up magic! ✨ But violets ain’t the only thing hiding in plain sight—swipe to see what else we found! 🌿 Wild Violet Syrup Recipe 💜

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh wild violet flowers (no stems)

2 cups boiling water

2 cups sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice (for color magic ✨)

Instructions:
1️⃣ Harvest your wild violets, removing stems and leaves.
2️⃣ Pour boiling water over the flowers in a heat-safe jar. Let steep for 12-24 hours for a deep infusion.
3️⃣ Strain out the flowers, keeping the liquid.
4️⃣ Pour liquid into a saucepan, add sugar, and gently heat until dissolved (do not boil).
5️⃣ Add lemon juice & watch the magic—your syrup will turn from deep blue to vibrant purple!
6️⃣ Cool & store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 1 month.
