Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 exposed Europe’s failed energy strategy. Years of short-sighted policy created a dangerous dependence on cheap but dirty Russian fossil gas.⁣

European countries are still buying Russian gas  while replacing one fossil gas dealer with another, importing more and more from the US.⁣
