 I heard a story about a tourist who thought she was rescuing a turtle by putting it back into the river—only to learn it had spent months getting to where it was for a reason.

It’s a powerful reminder: stop rescuing people who didn’t ask for help. Stop carrying responsibilities that were never yours to begin with. Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is let people walk their own journey.
