Kids in America are losing out to kids around the world in basketball because of skill. Just look at the nba draft every year. So many foreign players are being drafted in the first round, not to mention the top 5-10 players in the nba could be all foreign born(debatable) American kids are talented but are coming up short with their fundamentals and it starts with AAU.  We have allowed our kids to get distracted by what shoes a program wears, how the uniforms look or even what tournaments are being played in. If you have a real desire to get better and learn this game, your focus should be to join other players and coaches that want to challenge you to grow and get better. It’s not about playing games every weekend but it’s about the practices, learning how to improve your skillset so that when you match up against the really good players at your age, you can do things that they can’t because you practiced it.  #comejoinus #thetimeisnow rayallenselectmia
