Last week, we had Dr. Laxman Bahroo from Georgetown Hospital joined us at our gym to speak to our boxers and their family about Parkinson’s and the science of our brains.

As a Movement Disorder Specialist, One of the areas that he specializes in is Parkinson’s Disease. He is also a board-certified neurologist and member of the Movement Disorders program. Focusing on Parkinson’s has allowed him to study the disease and the essential tremors, and how therapeutic toxin injections in the facial muscles can help with dystopia spasticity and excessive drooling in Parkinson’s Patients.

We had a great discussion with him that was beneficial to several of our boxers who deal with some of these symptoms. Thank you for coming in and speaking to us Dr. Bahroo, we appreciated your Parkinson’s knowledge and tips!🥊
