🌅 New beginnings, On This Day 60 years ago, as Sir Jackie Stewart emerged unexpectedly triumphant from a thrilling race long BRM vs. Jim Clark duel at the Italian Grand Prix. ⚔️ 

Clark - who had clinched his final championship title at the previous round - dropped out with a fuel pump issue in the final third; approaching the final lap, Graham Hill staggeringly ran wide into the Parabolica during some formation flying with junior BRM team-mate Stewart! 😱

It was the young Scot's first championship victory, on his way to third place in the standings in his rookie season, with a very bright future ahead... 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
