A cube-shaped residence, wrapped in corrugated aluminum, with round, lens-like windows in Southwest Portland, is called the Camera House.

From the street level, the boxy top reminds some passersby of a vintage camera. Others see it as an architectural icon of 1970s swank modern, with spare ornamentation, geometric cutouts and pops of orange paint.
