The 2025 edition of the 𝟮𝟰-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at National Gallery Singapore invites participants to ruminate with 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱—an installation by Art Labor as part of the 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 initiative—the translocal nature of modernisation and rural industrialisation.

Be it in the hillside of Vietnam’s Central Highlands or Singapore’s teeming urban landscape, what is gained, and what is lost, when a region undergoes development, extraction, or change?
