Starting the day at deardadsrestaurant in Greensboro turned out to be a really good idea for us, and it will be for you too!

 Their menu leans into Mexican American fusion and it shows right away with the breakfast chilaquiles that balance a little heat with just the right crunch. We also tried the carrot cake pancakes which were fluffy with warm spices and cream cheese glaze that felt like dessert first thing in the day. The omelette came loaded and the home fries were golden, crispy, and seasoned to perfection the way you want them. We couldn’t skip the beignets either and they arrived soft and pillowy with just enough powdered sugar. An iced crème brûlée latte tied it all together and made this one of those meals you’ll want to come back for.

If you’re looking for something different for breakfast in Greensboro, this is a place worth putting on your list. The mix of flavors and the variety on the menu make it the kind of spot you’ll want to bring a friend to so you can try more than one thing. Don’t sleep on this one.
