Brian Boitano landed a historic program, highlighted by his signature “Tano Triple,” to edge out Brian Orser and claim gold for Team USA. But his impact didn’t stop there. Decades later, Boitano returned to the Olympic stage as part of the U.S. delegation at the Sochi 2014 Winter Games, standing up for LGBTQIA+ rights on a global platform.
