For David Robinson, basketball wasn’t just a game—it was a calling that came late. He didn’t make his high school team until senior year. But after a late growth spurt and a standout run at the U.S. Naval Academy, everything changed.
 
Following two years of Navy service, Robinson became a 3x Olympian—winning bronze in 1988, gold in 1996, and standing among the greats on the star-studded 1992 squad that changed basketball forever. Known as The Admiral, he remains the only NBA player inducted into the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame as both an individual and a team member.
