## Caption

ARTIFACT IN ACTION: Witness Craig Gilbert’s handball in action during the Team USA match against Denmark at the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Summer Games.

This handball artifact, originally white, was turned dingy brown by the resin players used for a better grip. Gilbert played handball at West Point and then in the Olympics. You can find Gilbert’s handball on the Summer Games floor when you visit the museum. What artifact do you want to see in action next?
