Shir has been a Roo supporter for a long time, so when her sweet boy Chance, the namesake behind her business Another Chance Training, was diagnosed, there was no question we were going to show up.

In addition to helping cover medical costs, Chance received his care package last month, and his reaction says it all. 🧡 Moments like these show why this program means so much.

"Hi Sarah and the Live Like Roo Family,

Today we went for our radiation mapping CT and I was emotional. I didn’t sleep last night, and everything became real today. Next week we start fighting the fight with daily radiation.

I felt sick all day. Then I came home tonight from work and saw your care package. What’s more, I saw Chance light up, and even better, he snuggled with his blankie and stuffie — I’ve never seen him wrap his paw around a stuffie like that before. He knows it’s from you. Thank you for the lift today. Here we go …"
