On September 8, 2025, Commissioner Robert A. Watson was promoted to Glory. From 1995–1999, he served as National Commander of The Salvation Army in the United States.
 
Throughout his ministry, Commissioner Watson was distinguished by his devotion to the Gospel, his strong leadership, his mentoring spirit, and his love for people. His life and service have left a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.
