Meet #ArtistChangemaker Ivón Eliana Muñoz Romero from Peru! A passionate percussionist and advocate for women in music with more than 15 years of experience, Ivón uses her platform to empower artists and celebrate Afro-Peruvian culture. 

“Music is a political act and will continue to be so in the new generations.” 

She is dedicated to promoting spaces for women in music, and also as a teacher of Afro-Peruvian music. Her passion has prompted her to create a women led project, "Peru Mujer".
