Today, on International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, we at She's the First stand firm in our belief that everyone deserves to live freely, love openly, and express their true selves without fear. We are committed to supporting the rights of all girls around the world, including those who are gender-nonconforming, and genderfluid. We especially support their right to autonomy and dignity.

When girls around the world created The Global Girls’ Bill of Rights, they made sure to include #8: "All girls have the right to make decisions about their bodies and sexuality." This principle is crucial because it empowers girls and helps break down the barriers of discrimination and violence that many face due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, or simply because they are being true to themselves.

Today, and every day, we pledge to create a world where every girl, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, can exercise their rights to bodily autonomy and sexual freedom without judgment or harm. We believe in a future where love is not a battleground but a universal language spoken freely and proudly.

On this important day, let's recommit to standing together against homophobia, transphobia, and biphobia. Join us in advancing the cause for equality, respect, and the unalienable right of every girl to make decisions about her body and sexuality.
