Join us this Saturday, Sept. 20 at your Toronto Zoo from 11:00am - 2:00pm to celebrate Kalden and Poppy while learning how you can help protect this endangered species.

Come by their Eurasia Wilds habitat for a Meet the Guardians Talk, fun activities, discounted red panda face painting, themed snacks & beverages, and exclusive merchandise. It’s the perfect chance to show your support and discover how you can make a difference, following your Zoo visit 🐾

With fewer than 10,000 left in the wild, Red Pandas face threats from habitat loss, poaching, and the illegal pet trade. That’s why as an AZA-accredited zoo, your Toronto Zoo participates in the Species Survival Plan® (SSP), a program designed to protect animals at risk of extinction. Through this program, your Zoo helps manage breeding, genetics, and long-term sustainability for species in danger.

Are you aware? By donating to our fundraising partners at Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy, you will be helping to fund vital conservation efforts to protect Red Pandas here at home and around the world. A foundational piece of the Zoo’s campus plan is the redevelopment and expansion of the current red panda habitat 🦊
