The Con Edison Student Athlete of the Week is Hen Hud cross-country senior Victor Delgado.

Athletics: On Sept. 13, Delgado won the Div. II 5K race at the Queensbury Pre-state Invitational at the home of this season's NYSPHSAA championships. He finished the race in a time of 15:44.2.. ... Delgado won the CHSAA early season invitational at Van Cortlandt Park the previous week. He finished the race in a time of 12:48.4 in a 2.5 mile course outdoing any Section 1 runner from the previous year. ... Earlier this season, Delgado was the number one ranked runner in the state by TullyRunners.com. ... He was sixth at last year's cross country state meet. ... Delgado holds the school record at every cross country course the Sailors compete at as well as the Indoor and Spring track records in the 1,600m and 3,200m runs. ... He's a three-time nationals qualifier. ... The captain of the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams, he has garnered all-state, All Section, All County and All League honors. ... Delgado's contributed to the league team championship titles in both cross country and track.
