This week, Belgium made headlines on every stage 🖤💛❤️ Here’s your Weekend Wrap-Up ⤵️

1️⃣ In Kigali 🇷🇼, Remco Evenepoel completed an extraordinary hat-trick in the World ITT, he is the first Belgian in history to achieve it. 🚴‍♂️

2️⃣ New York podium fever. Gilles Thomas (Qalista DN) claimed his 2nd LGCT Grand Prix win, while Thibault Philippaerts (Pittman v/h Lilleveld) joined him on the podium. 🐎

3️⃣ Silver in Tokyo. Isaac Kimeli ran the race of his life in the 5000m Worlds, storming to 12:58.78. He’s vice world champion! 💨

4️⃣ Loena’s comeback. After a year of hard prep, Loena Hendrickx dazzled in Beijing 🇨🇳 with 🥉 at ISU Skate to Milano, securing Belgium’s Olympic ticket for Milano-Cortina 2026. ⛸️

5️⃣ Aiming for top 10, Ilan Van Wilder left Tokyo with 🥉 in his very first Worlds TT. 🚴‍♂️

6️⃣ Nations League class. Belgium made it to the third place! Special mention for Vorsselmans & Trezeguet making a two clear rounds. 🐴

7️⃣ Philippaerts in NYC. Olivier Philippaerts & H&M Miro soared to 🥈 at the CSI5* Champagne Piaff Trophy. 🐎

8️⃣ Tornados’ persistence. A 38th global final brought them 4th place after an incredible race during the heat. Step by step, the podium is coming. ⚡

9️⃣ The Belgian cheetahs clocked 3:22.15. Their 2nd fastest Belgian women’s 4x400m ever. 🐆

🔟 Consistency at its best. 53.70 in Tokyo, her 2nd fastest ever, capped a season of Belgian records, Diamond League finals & Euro Team Champs gold. What a season for Naomi!✨

1️⃣1️⃣ Historic Dragons. Belgium swept 🇫🇮 3-0  back in the World Champs top 8 after 55 years. 🏐

1️⃣2️⃣ Climbing high. Héloïse Dumont reached the World Championship semis. Next stop Friday against the planet’s 8 best. 🧗‍♀️

1️⃣3️⃣ Ticket secured. Mazarine Guilbert finished 2nd in her heat (7:29.23), also advancing to the semis in Shanghai. 🚣‍♀️

1️⃣4️⃣ Rowing power. In Shanghai 🇨🇳, Tristan Vandenbussche & Aaron Andries took 🥉 in M2X, booking their semifinal spot. 🚣‍♂️
