The Davis-Berkeley Shuttle service made its last ride Sept. 2, citing drops in post-pandemic ridership that led to the service’s discontinuation.

“I always felt really comfortable taking the shuttle, knowing that it was only other students and faculty on the shuttle. With other services that Davis offers, it’s kind of a mixed bag,” UC Davis junior Aaliyah Español-Rivas said. “There’s not really just a service for students, so it was really nice to have that. So when I heard it was getting shut down, I was literally so devastated. I’m maybe their only fan, but I loved it a lot.”
