🌊 Inverell Makes a Splash! 🌊

The Inverell community has officially unveiled its $14 million redeveloped Memorial Olympic Pool, marking a new era for swimming in the New England region.

The opening was celebrated with Swimming NSW President Graeme Field, Inverell Mayor Kate Dight, Inverell Swimming Club President Pam Weste, and Australian Dolphin Ella Ramsey, who even jumped in for a fun celebrity relay! 🏊‍♀️

With a flexible indoor–outdoor 50m pool, a new 20m learn-to-swim pool, and modern spaces for swimmers and spectators, the facility is set to benefit grassroots and high-performance swimming alike.

Already locked in to host the 2026 Country Championships, Inverell is ready to shine as a premier destination for regional and state-level competitions. 👏

A huge congratulations to Inverell Shire Council, government partners, Inverell Swimming Club, and the community for delivering such a game-changing venue for our sport.
