As one of the first TIFF 2025 films to be released, some of us may know Whitney Wolfe Herd as the powerhouse behind Bumble but Swiped gives us a raw look at the real story behind her rise.

From building Tinder’s viral marketing campaign to challenging toxic startup culture (while dealing with a jealous ex/co-founder 🙃), this film dives into what it really took for her to break through a male-dominated industry.

Is it Oscar-worthy? No.
Is it inspiring as hell to see a woman take back her power? Absolutely.
