Welcome to Jug Handle Creek Farm and Nature Center, a nonprofit tucked just five minutes’ walk from Jug Handle State Reserve, Jug Handle Beach, and the famous Ecological Staircase trail.

You’ll find 11 spacious, private campsites each with two picnic tables, a fire ring, room for your tents, and parking for two cars. Wander the 33-acre property and you’ll discover native plant nurseries, community gardens, wildflower meadows, peaceful forests, and winding nature trails.

Their mission is to create a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds to explore, learn, and connect with the natural world. When you stay camp you’re also supporting local habitat restoration projects, youth nature education programs, and environmental stewardship across Mendocino County.

Whether you’re here to camp under the redwoods, stroll to the beach, or simply slow down and listen to the birds, Jug Handle offers a place where nature, community, and purpose come together. jughandlecreeknaturecenter 

If you’re a teacher, they also host immersive, hands-on programs for K–12 classrooms.
