This year I got to direct and take full creative control over one of our stations for swim & dive. My goal was to go deeper than athletics itself—showing the person behind the athlete while still rooting them in the context of the sport.

The focus on portraits is what made this project different for me. Instead of blending into the 10 000 media day photos out there, these felt a little more real."
