My ideas have come to me differently than what I am accustomed to since arriving in Michigan. After a brief period of feeling dislodged from myself—like a shell moving to unpack the many boxes that circumnavigated “my life”—I have gotten what is closely linked to “epiphanies” (which in reality feels more like a spiraled, downward web of connecting one idea to the next, that eventually curdles into a cohesive thought). 🌌🌀

I find it fascinating. Waking up with these ideas of 100 different versions of myself, in the abstracted sense, leads me to believe I am making progress toward where I want to go. A final return to self-portraiture; one of my favorite pastimes. 🎭💭
Taking on this new role, I pushed myself to create again in the dark of night—the most inspiring time, one might say. I am obsessed with the idea of the clown—not the traditional clown, but as an object, or personifying this rat-on-a-wheel feeling inside of me. Wanting to create but being pushed till 3 AM; creating for others while seemingly holding a rolodex in my head of ideas that, within time, feel as though they will escape me. 🌙🕰️🤡
Maybe I ramble, but there’s something there.
