A Chocolaterie Stam licensed store in Ankeny will likely open around Christmas, the co-owner of the Des Moines-based chain says.

Since 1997, Ton Stam and husband David have been importing and selling the chocolate made by the Dutch-born Ton Stam's family near Amsterdam, serving as the American branch of the business. Their business currently has eight licensed locations from Ames to Illinois and Colorado.
