More than 60 volunteers joined us last Saturday for International Coastal Cleanup Day, the world’s largest, one-day volunteer effort for our oceans and waterways. Together, they removed 2,000 pounds of waste from our shoreline. 

Total results for Miami-Dade County:

🗑️ 25,000+ pounds of trash removed
🌍 68 cleanup sites across the county

Spearheaded globally by the oceanconservancy, volunteercleanup organizes Miami-Dade County’s local participation in this worldwide event with 70+ shoreline cleanups around the county each led by our local non-profit and community partners.
