Meet our #GrizzlyMakersChallenge Honorable Mention: Steven Ferse!

After moving to Spokane, WA, aka “Hooptown USA” - Steven set out to capture the city’s basketball spirit by building a giant laminated wooden basketball. At 3.5 feet in diameter, 11 feet in circumference, and weighing 65 pounds, this ball was five years in the making. Built from alder, the project required precision bending, glue-ups, and sheer persistence.

Steven’s next challenge is a baseball and a golf ball to add to the collection. Now that’s dedication! 👏🐻🏀
