A California court previously granted Edwards’ motion to quash service of summons, based entirely on his sworn declaration that he lacked sufficient ties to California. The baller claimed that his only contact with the state was the occasional basketball games played for his NBA team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.

However, TSR has exclusively obtained court documents alleging Edwards knowingly and strategically misrepresented material facts under oath, specifically denying the very types of business and economic ties to California he maintains. ___________________________________
As we previously reported, Edwards suggested that Howard filed her child support case in Los Angeles to gain a higher award than she would receive in Georgia. In a statement from Howard’s legal team, they said Edwards “was deliberate, calculated, and intended to deceive the court on the threshold issue of personal jurisdiction.”
