Glass art inspired by Corning’s river system will be officially on view to the public next week ✨

Renowned artist and architect Maya Lin brings a stunning, site-specific installation to the Corning Museum of Glass in honor of the 10th anniversary of our Contemporary Art + Design Wing.

Crafted from thousands of #475 Johns Manville glass marbles, this piece reimagines the four rivers that flow through Corning, NY, blending personal memory with local geography.

This work is part of her ongoing ‘Marble River Drawing’ series and explores how waterways connect us—visually, emotionally, and historically.
