Taking your new horse to your first rated show is exciting… until you read the fine print. 💸

Between USEF and USHJA memberships, ownership transfers, and other fees, one new amateur had to spend over $660 before even stepping in the show ring. And that’s before show-by-show charges like medic, office, and zone fees.

We love the sport, but as author @two_bit_training points out, simplifying this maze of fees would make showing more accessible for everyone.
