📝 To date, the alabamasportscouncil, cityofbirmingham, Jefferson County, thebjcc + inbirmingham are working together to submit the necessary bid paperwork to show FIFA that the Magic City would be the perfect fit for the global event.

🌍The 2031 tournament is scheduled to be played in the U.S., Mexico + neighboring CONCACAF nations which include Canada, Caribbean + Central American nations.

🏟️ The tournament will have 48 participating nations. 

The Magic City’s successful history hosting international soccer games: 
👉 1996: Opening of the Olympic Soccer Tournament between U.S. + Argentina drew 83k+ fans 
👉 2015: U.S Women’s National Team drew 35k+ fans at Legion Field
