French President Emmanual Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron are expanding their defamation case against Candace Owens.

Owens falsely claimed that Brigitte Macron is transgender earlier this year. On September 12 she filed a motion to dismiss the case.

The Macrons countered Owen's filing with an amended complaint that detail her ongoing 'vitriolic' attacks, including the clim that the French First Lady participated in the Stanford Prison Experiment under the name 'Jean-Michel'.

A representative for the Macron's told The Advocate: “Since we filed this lawsuit, Ms. Owens has only strengthened our case by doubling down on, and escalating, her knowingly false and defamatory rhetoric against the Macrons,”

"The amended complaint we filed last week captures the breadth of her continued vitriol and addresses her desperate attempts to have this case heard in what she perceives to be a more friendly forum. We are confident that this litigation is before the appropriate court, but regardless of where it is heard, the facts and evidence supporting our claims speak for themselves.”

Brigitte Macron has already won similar defamation cases in France.
